Documentary Storytelling:
A 12-minute documentary exploring the relationship between pottery, creativity and wellbeing, created during the period following the intense disruption of COVID-19.
Originally planned as an in-person event that was cancelled, the film became an opportunity to bring together artists and makers to explore how creative practice can help us navigate challenging times. Featuring Helen Lee, a retired psychotherapist and potter; Rebecca Harvey; Roelof Uys, Lead Potter at The Leach Pottery; and ceramic sculptor Janna Edwards, the film considers pottery as both expression and practical making a process through which something intangible can become something we can hold and use.
The film also explores the history and philosophy of The Leach Pottery and its continuing role as a creative community in St Ives.
One question at the heart of the film is: “What is the environment we thrive in?”

Creative Cinematography:
A short-form visual film documenting stone balancing artist Adrian Gray as he creates a monumental installation from three granite boulders, carefully positioned using a crane.
Set entirely to music, the film focuses on movement, scale and the quiet precision of the balancing process. The completed work was exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

A short-form performance film capturing the movement, strength and expression of aerial arts. Created to emphasise the rhythm and physicality of the performers through dynamic cinematography and music-led editing.

A short-form Instagram film introducing the people and personality behind a landscape design company. Created to communicate the brand in an approachable, engaging format while showcasing the team, their work and the environments they create.

Commercial Storytelling:
A short film exploring Cornish metalwork artist Sharon McSwiney and the natural world that inspires her work.
Sharon creates intricate seascape and Cornwall-inspired pieces, drawing on walks along the coast, collected pebbles and shells, and photographs taken around the landscape.
The film follows her creative process and the techniques behind her work, including hammering, soldering, etching and casting.
Created as a character-led portrait of the maker and her craft, the film brings together process, personality and place to tell the story behind the finished pieces.

Music & Editorial:
Part of The Wild Places, an ongoing series of live music filmed in beautiful locations around Cornwall.
For this film, singer-songwriter Rosanna Lea performs Story To Tell inside the caves of Holywell Bay. The song explores the importance of small acts of kindness when someone is going through a dark period, and the possibility that there is always more of the story still to come.
The film uses the natural environment, performance and music to create an intimate and atmospheric portrait of the song and its message.
